About
Roy Orbison was one of the founding members of the Traveling Wilburys and one of the most distinctive voices in rock and roll history. Known for his powerful operatic tenor voice, dark, brooding songwriting, and trademark dark sunglasses, Orbison scored hits including "Oh, Pretty Woman," "Crying," and "In Dreams." Tragically, he passed away from a heart attack just weeks after the Traveling Wilburys debut album was released in December 1988.
