Carl Palmer is the drummer of Asia and a former member of Emerson, Lake & Palmer (ELP). One of the most technically accomplished drummers in rock, his busy, percussively intense style anchored both ELP's bombastic classical-rock fusions and Asia's more streamlined arena rock. He remains an active touring and recording artist.
