John Wetton

John Wetton was the bassist, vocalist, and primary songwriter of Asia, as well as a former member of King Crimson, Uriah Heep, and Roxy Music. His powerful voice and melodic bass playing were central to Asia's arena rock sound, particularly on their massive self-titled debut album (1982). Wetton passed away from colorectal cancer in January 2017.
