Chris Squire

Chris Squire was the bassist of Yes and the only member to appear on every studio album the band released. His aggressive, distorted bass style — often playing Rickenbacker basses — was central to Yes's sound and highly influential on subsequent generations of rock bassists. He passed away from leukemia in June 2015, which led to the temporary dissolution of the current Yes lineup.
