John Bonham was the drummer of Led Zeppelin, renowned for his thunderous yet remarkably musical playing style, his use of large Ludwig drums, and his incredible speed and power. His 1971 solo piece "Moby Dick" remains one of the most famous drum solos in rock history. Bonham passed away in 1980, leading to Led Zeppelin's dissolution.
